### **Introduction** <a href="#introduccion" id="introduccion"></a>

Document Onboarding is a remote and online registration process that is carried out the first time a user accesses a service or product.

To carry out the registration, the document information is automatically captured in real time. The resulting output is used to verify the authenticity of the document using algorithms and security protocols.

Once in the Widget, text appears giving you instructions for the step to perform. In this case, your camera has been activated and you must focus on the front or back of your document. The document must fit within the rectangle (3), without the edges of the document extending beyond the frame. If the lighting and sharpness conditions are appropriate, the photo will be taken automatically.

If you have doubts or difficulties with this step, tap the information button (2) and a tutorial will open to help you.

You can switch between the cameras on your device by tapping the icon (4).

Once the document has been captured, a preview screen appears (if enabled in Settings). Here you must check that the document is fully visible and that the data are legible.

If the photo is blurry, or there is data that is obscured or cut off, we recommend retrying this step (3) to retake the photo and avoid future reading errors. A bad capture can lead to a misinterpretation of the data and require repeating the process again.

If the photo is sharp and the data are readable, press button (4) to continue to the next step.
