Flow generator
The heart of Facephi IDV Suite is the Identity Verification flows.
An Flow defines, step by step, what a user has to do to complete an Onboarding or authentication. For example:
Accept terms and conditions.
Capture their identity document.
User selfie capture
Validations:
Perform a liveness check (biometric selfie).
Validate the data against external sources.
Obtain an automatic decision or send the case for review.
Flows/integrations are created and managed from the platform itself, and can be reused in different channels:
No-code integrations: hosted links or experiences that can be shared without development.
Low-code web/mobile integrations: ready-made components to integrate into an existing website or application.
For profiles in operations, business, or product, this means:
Having visibility and control over how users are identified and authenticated.
Being able to adjust the process (for example, add an extra validation) without having to always start a development project.
Maintaining consistency across countries, products, and channels, reusing already tested flows.
The rest of this documentation builds on this flow concept and explains how they are designed, configured, and integrated into the client's channels.
